Rosary of reparation and confidence in the Divine Heart of Jesus

Introduction by the Author

Contemplating for years the Sacred Heart of Jesus and especially reading what Saint Margherita Maria Alacoque, Saint Claudio de La Colombiere, Santa Faustina Kowalska and Servant of God don Francesco Mottola wrote, I felt the inspiration of a contemplative prayer as a compendium of such wonderful spiritual feelings, which are relevant in our times. The Rosary of reparation and confidence in the Divine Heart of Jesus introduces us in the mystery of Divine Love, His endless Mercy, His total forgiveness and the full confidence that the faithful believer can easily put in the Heart of the Saver. The Apostle Paul has admirably synthesized all these aspects of the real Christian spirituality in the letter to the Romans, where he says so:
What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?
As it is written: "For your sake we are being slain all the day; we are looked upon as sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Rm 8, 35-39).
With this reparation act for all the sins of human race and of confidence in God’s Love in Jesus Christ, praying piously this saint Rosary we will receive innumerable spiritual and material graces from the Divine Heart of our Saver for ourselves, our families, our communities, the all Church and the entire world.

Divine Heart of Jesus, I trust and hope in you!

First Friday of the month

Dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

BEGINNING PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ,
who revealed as
Endless Love and Mercy
through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
accept the reparation act from us, poor sinners,
against each blasphemy, desecration of the Eucharist,
injury to Your Divine Love
and to fraternal love.
With this prayer we consecrate and abandon ourselves to Your holy will.
through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
in every life conditions
and we put, with total confidence in Your Divine Heart, all our expectations
to be appreciated by the Heavenly Father
so that we could gain every material and spiritual graces,
necessary for our eternal redemption
in the joyful communion of saints.
Amen.

Jesus, meek and humble of Heart,
make our hearts similar to Yours.

In the First Mystery we contemplate Jesus calling the all human race to Him to comfort everybody with His Divine Love.

Matthew (11,28-30)
Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."

The Sacred Heart of Jesus
Light and fire, blood and thorns, cross and glory, in the battered flesh of Jesus’Heart. Mystery of Love in the heaven and on the earth. Pain and death which are sources of life: " Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest". From Jesus’ Heart every benefit, with Jesus’ Heart every action, in Jesus’ Heart every peace. AMEN!

Our Father...
Hail Mary...

10 times: Divine Heart of Jesus,
I Trust and Hope in You!

Glory be to the Father...

Jesus meek and humble of Heart,
make our hearts similar to yours.

Immaculate Heart of Mary
pray for us.

In the Second Mystery we contemplate Jesus giving His disciples the new commandment of fraternal love

John(15,9-12)
As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
"I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.

This I command to you
Gospel is not warm water, it expresses all the intransigence of love. For the Christian loving is the first basic obligation, because the same Lord Christ commanded to His disciples to love one another and to love with an inflexible and irrevocable love. "Love one other as I love you". That is, not a generic, earthly, human love, but a divine love arising from the contact with the Master. If Jesus Divine Master has loved us giving us His love until the extreme sacrifice, we cannot avoid to love one another following His example and with His help. Because the Risen Christ effused in our hearts His Spirit, love is for us the first and basic commandment to remain united to Him as real Grapevine, source of immortal Life. The Christian who doesn’t love tears away himself from Life and remains in death.

Our Father...
Hail Mary...

10 times: Divine Heart of Jesus,
I Trust and Hope in You!

Glory be to the Father...

Jesus meek and humble of Heart,
make our hearts similar to yours.

Immaculate Heart of Mary
pray for us.

In the Third mystery we contemplate Jesus, who in the Last Supper establishes the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
Luke (22, 14-20)
When the hour came, he took his place at table with the apostles.
He said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
for, I tell you, I shall not eat it (again) until there is fulfillment in the kingdom of God."
Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and said, "Take this and share it among yourselves;
for I tell you (that) from this time on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me."
And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which will be shed for you

Body and Heart of Christ

"I gave you my Body to eat! I gave you my Blood to drink! If I could, I would have done more. Whatever My Father has is mine, whatever I have is yours! Feed yourselves with my Life, drink from my Heart: this is the real life!" Contemplating Eucharist we can hear in our spirit deepness these words by Christ our God and Lord, Brother and Redeemer, who with the sacrifice of His Body and His Blood perpetuates until the end of time the absolute gift of his life for our sake in obedience to the Father!

Our Father...
Hail Mary...

10 times: Divine Heart of Jesus,
I Trust and Hope in You!

Glory be to the Father...

Jesus meek and humble of Heart,
make our hearts similar to yours.

Immaculate Heart of Mary
pray for us.
In the Fourth Mystery we contemplate Jesus who from the Cross is thirsty For love and redemption of human souls and for them he rips His Divine Heart shedding all his Blood.

John (19, 28-30)
After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I thirst."There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, "It is finished." And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.

Eucharist: Love and Mercy

The Eucharist is Christ’s ripped Heart that effuses abundantly Love and Mercy in the world. “A soldier hit His chest with a spear and soon blood and water gushed out”. Blood: No one has a bigger love than He who gives His Life for His friends. Water: Jesus said: “Come to me and drink whoever is thirsty. He who believes in me will flow from within rivers of living Water". Christ’s Love Blood and Mercy Water will eternally flow from His Eucharistic Heart. Let’s get with both hands from this inexhaustible source to receive and give Love and Mercy forever.
Our Father…

I Trust and Hope in You!

Jesus meek and humble of Heart

In the Fifth Mystery we contemplate Jesus resurrected who confirms the faith of Thomas and all His disciples.
John (20, 24-29)
Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.
So the other disciples said to him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."
Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you."
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe."
Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

Rays of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
You are my Lord and my God

Thomas, the unbeliever, had not yet understood the mystery hidden in the Person of Christ. The miracles, the healings, the resurrections which he saw and experienced, were not enough to generate faith in his heart. For him Christ was a liar, just like all the Apostles He had met. In Thomas’ opinion Jesus was not raised from the dead and everything He had done in His life was just an illusion placed down his memory lane. But when the Resurrected manifested Himself in all His glory full of grace and truth, Thomas, still unbelieving, wanted to touch “the place of the nails” and, through the chest split, the pierced Heart of Christ, throbbing of Love and Mercy. Suddenly he fell on his feeble knees dazzled by the divine light of faith and his mouth declared the words that would have confirmed myriads of believers: You are my Lord and my God. Jesus told him: “Because you have seen, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe!”

Our Father…
Hail Mary….

10 times: Divine Heart of Jesus,
I Trust and Hope in You!

Glory be to the Father….

Jesus meek and humble of Heart
Make our hearts similar to yours.

Immaculate Heart of Mary
Pray for us.

Hail, Holy Queen, mother of mercy!
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve, to thee do we send
up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley, of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us; and
after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus;
O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ.
Amen.

Let us pray.
Almighty and eternal God, look upon the Heart of You most-beloved Son, and upon the praises and satisfaction He offers Thee in the name of sinners; and appeased by worthy homage, pardon those who implore Thy mercy, in Thy Great Goodness in the name of the same Jesus Christ Thy Son, Who lives and reigns with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, world without end. Amen.

Final Prayer
Lord Jesus, You who are the beginning and the end
Of all things created and of human history.
You who became a man
To bring humanity dispersed
To the heart of the Heavenly Father
And gave Your life in sacrifice for our love
On the tree of the Cross
And rising, You have given us the hope of eternal life;
Keep on Your throne of glory
Effusing in the world the river of Mercy
Which came out from Your pierced chest.

Keep making us feel Your desire of our lives
Just like when You said: “I Thirst”.
Do that our hardened hearts are open to your desire for love
And that we can reciprocate the sacrifice of Your life
With the sacrifice of our life for yours and our brother’s love.

Be the Eucharist the centre of our spiritual life.

Be Your Heart, full of love and life in the Holy Eucharist
the most desired nourishment for our spirit
So that, nourishing ourselves with the greatest love and respect for you,
We can repair the many desecrations,
ingratitude and coldness
which many of Your disciples and faithless men
have towards Your Body and Your Blood
so we can obtain such countless spiritual graces
enclosed in Your Eucharistic Heart.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your and our tender Mother
In Her Immaculate Heart welcome our resolutions
And present them before You so that You can receive and grant them.
Amen.
